Your Family's Health Is our Priority

Our Building Exceeds Health Standards

  • Our classrooms are huge so your child has plenty of space.

  • Each classroom has:

    • An independent HVAC system

    • Its own bathroom

    • Its own kitchen sink, refrigerator, and microwave

    • Windows with screens for fresh air

    • Large lockers inside the rooms

  • We have several playground areas so the children can spread out.

What the school can do...

  • Keep the groups small.

  • Cultivate substitute teachers who work only at our school and a limited number of other schools.

  • For indoor family events such as choral concerts, set the chairs far apart.

  • Provide hand sanitizer.

  • Change the HVAC filters regularly.

  • Clean toys and equipment often.

What the teachers can do...

  • If you have symptoms of a contagious disease, stay home.

  • Take the children outside as often as possible.

  • Choose field trips that are in small venues with small groups.

  • Avoid activities that require blowing with straws, balloons, blow dryers, etc.

  • Wear gloves when touching food and drink, when helping in the bathroom, and when cleaning.

What your family can do...

  • If your child has symptoms of a contagious disease, keep him or her home.

  • If we ask you to pick up your child, arrive within 30 minutes.

  • Prepare water bottles and sippy cups in advance.

  • Pack food and drink that your child can open and close independently.

  • Leave diapers, pull-ups, wipes, and cream at school.

  • Leave a change of clothing at school.

  • If your child has allergies or a medical condition, send the office an email about it and turn in the appropriate forms.

What your child can do...

  • If you have symptoms of a contagious disease, stay home.

  • Wash your hands often.

  • Cough and sneeze into a shirt sleeve or a tissue.

  • Throw away used tissues immediately.

  • Cover the bathroom door handle with a paper towel, then throw it away.

  • Eat during snack and lunch time only.

  • Eat only the food and drink you bring with you.

  • Leave your water bottle on the counter (not the floor).
