ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Kindergarten to 5th Grade
The Perfect Balance of Fun & Learning
Customized Learning
-
We plan our lessons and activities to meet each child's strengths and needs.
-
We communicate often with parents to identify growth and plan next steps.
-
Children learn to manage their learning and gain self-confidence.

Challenging Lessons
-
We plan for the right balance of rigorous learning and good fun.
-
We teach with an inquiry-based approach. Children learn to ask questions, find answers, and think critically.
-
Children learn to read and write beyond all expectations.

Small Groups
-
We separate the children into small groups of 2 to 8 for focused learning activities.
-
The teacher works with each small group independently.
-
The children may get the same work or different work, depending on their ability and interests.
-
In this way, the children learn concepts quickly and internalize them deeply.

Hands-on Activities
-
For math, at all ages levels, we use hands-on tools, games, and projects, so children can process how math works.
-
In science, we do experiments first, so the children can discover the properties of science for themselves.
-
Children learn and remember everything better when they are active.

Advanced Math Options
-
From kindergarten through fifth grade, we do at least 50 minutes of math per day.
-
All children have the opportunity to work at math on-level or above level.
-
Advanced students may work in a high group in their classroom, or they may work with the children in the next grade up.
