PRESCHOOL PREP

Ages 2 and 3

We love young children. They make us smile and keep our hearts full. To maintain consistency and a peaceful atmosphere, we place them in very small groups with the same teacher and friends for the entire school year. ​

During class, we enjoy songs, stories, letters, sounds, writing, art, math, and science activities. We also have 15-20 minutes each day with our school Spanish teacher, a native Spanish-speaker who adores kids. The children also use our big gym, the library, and the indoor playground. Often, the children in preschool prep and their families join the Eagle Creek community for events such as Trunk or Treat and Santa Breakfast. 

Our preschool prep teachers are experts at helping children develop social skills (such as waiting their turn) and self-help skills (such as putting on their coats). Most importantly, we love to cuddle!

  • Each group has 4 to 10 children and 1 or 2 teachers.

  • Each group stays together the entire school year.

  • When children turn 3 years old, they may join our summer camps.

  • 8 - drop-off

  • 9:50 - pre-math skills

  • 12:25 - puzzles & quiet games

  • 12:50 - more academics

  • 1:30 - outdoors

  • 2:10 - craft

  • 2:50 - more songs & stories

  • 3:20 - afternoon pick-up

Communication

  • ​We use Seesaw to share messages, photos, videos, schoolwork, and assessments.

  • We have parent conferences 3 times per school year.

  • We write report cards 2 times per school year.

  • We are happy to meet with you anytime!

Miss Monika Schapman ran an in-home daycare for children of all ages for over twenty years. She spent three years at Sacred Heart Academy teaching at-risk youngsters. One of her strengths is in assessing children's development and planning next steps. She finds great purpose and joy in helping children grow, and she's eager to meet you. Let the fun begin!

TUITION

The 22/23 school year is from September 6, 2022, to May 26, 2023. That is 39 weeks. The rates are:

  • Mornings Only

    • T Th mornings = $4,120​​

    • M W F mornings = $6,180

    • M T W Th F mornings = $10,300

  • All Day

    • T Th all day =​ $5,160

    • M W F all day = $7,740

    • M T W Th F all day = $12,900

The 23/24 school year is from September 5, 2023, to June 7, 2024. That is 40 weeks. The rates are:

  • Mornings Only

    • T Th mornings = $4,476​​

    • M W F mornings = $6,714

    • M T W Th F mornings = $11,190

  • All Day

    • T Th all day =​ $5596

    • M W F all day = $8394

    • M T W Th F all day = $13,990

Details​

  • You may drop off at 8 am. Class officially starts at 8:15 am. 

  • Morning pick-up is at 12 pm. 

  • All-day pick-up is at 3:20 pm.

  • All children should bring snacks and drinks.

  • We eat snack but not lunch during morning class.

  • Children in the all-day class should bring lunch or prepay for hot lunch.

  • ​Preschool children do not need to be potty-trained.

  • Children in Young Fives must be potty-trained and must stay all day.

  • We have extended care from 7:30 am to 6 pm for children 3+ years old.

  • If your child starts mid-year, we prorate the tuition.

  • Eagle Creek Academy is a licensed daycare.

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Tour with the principal. The child may attend the initial tour.

  2. Child tour. If your child does not attend the initial tour, please organize a follow-up tour.

  3. Tell us your preferred schedule. We need to know the days you would like.

  4. Tell us what day you would like to start.
